Do you listen to podcasts? As a podcast host and producer, I get the honor of getting to know other podcasters in the industry through conferences and collaborations. I’m in Denver finishing up the last day of Podcast Movement where I learned from podcasters and professionals in the podcast industry and got to speak on a few things I’ve learned about how to do better interviews.
Three years into my podcasting journey, I can say that I’ve learned so much from the guests who have come onto the A World of Difference podcast in my 150 episodes. I’ve also learned a great deal about interviewing, marketing, leadership development, public speaking, business strategies, tech, psychological safety and so much more from other podcasters at this conference. I was at Podcast Movement Evolutions in LA last year, and Podfest in Orlando earlier this year. Having spoken at and attended all 3 of these conferences, I can say that I appreciate the generous exchange of knowledge and ideas in this community. I often say that podcasters really are some of the best people. This conference has proved that again, and I’m honored to be in such a caring community.
Bringing a diversity of brains around the table is my favorite. You know this. It’s what A World of Difference is all about- bringing our differences around the table to make a difference. So, with all the diverse voices in podcasting, I get to glean from all these points-of-view.
What space are you in that is bringing you new perspectives? I’d love to hear about it! Let us know in the comments.
